Member for Morwell Russell Northe today announced that local paramedics will benefit from a rebuilt Traralgon Ambulance Station.
Mr Northe said the funding for Traralgon Ambulance Station would pay for some very important infrastructure improvements.
“The current Traralgon Ambulance Station is 30 years old, lacks facilities and is in dire need of replacing,” Mr Northe said.
“I congratulate the Traralgon Ambulance Auxiliary for having long advocated for the new ambulance station in Traralgon.
“We have some great paramedics in Gippsland and this new station in Traralgon will further support the great work our paramedics do in protecting the health needs of our local community but there are also many in need of more support.” Mr Northe said this rebuild will assist our local paramedics to better respond to local emergencies in our community.
“I will continue to advocate for projects across the Morwell electorate in the Parliament and I look forward to some further health projects being funded in the future,” Mr Northe said.
