Member for Morwell Russell Northe is encouraging small businesses in Latrobe City to make use of the guide to Victoria’s Small Business Festival, which outlines events being held around regional Victoria.
Victoria’s Small Business Festival will run from the 1-31 August and features a collection of events and workshops aimed at encouraging and inspiring business capability, leadership and collaboration.
Mr Northe said now in its 11th year the Victorian Small Business Festival is a once-a-year opportunity to celebrate the great contribution small businesses make to our community.
“The event guide is being distributed but small business operators and budding entrepreneurs can now also request a copy and book events online,” Mr Northe said.
“The Small Business Festival gives people the opportunity to be inspired by leaders in the business world, learn new skills to start or grow your business and network with other small business owners.”
Mr Northe said the festival is accessible to anyone wanting to start or grow their own business with hundreds of events offered free or at low cost.
